Evelyn currently works as a Real Estate Agent. 

 
She has hands-on rescue experience with Hurricane Katrina disaster animal rescue through UAN's EARS, Best Friends Animal Society and ARNO (Animal Rescue New Orleans).

 

She has also attended training sessions about disaster response presented by:

UAN (United Animal Nation),
AHA (American Humane),
HSUS (Humane Society of US),
Indiana Dept of Homeland Security,
Citizen Corps
CERT of Miami Township
Red Cross

She is a member with Pet Alliance; involved with trap/neuter/release (TNR), fostering, socializing feral kittens, adoption interviewing and follow-up, community awareness and fundraising.  Evelyn has been involved with rescue groups for the last several years: transporting, fostering, training, home checks and adoption interviews.   

 
She is a disaster volunteer with:

CERT (Community Emergency Response Team)

All of Evelyn's companion animals are from shelters and/or rescue groups.
