Evelyn currently works as a Real Estate Agent. 

She has hands-on rescue experience with Hurricane Katrina disaster animal rescue through UAN's EARS, Best Friends Animal Society and ARNO (Animal Rescue New Orleans).

 She has also attended training sessions about disaster response presented by:

 UAN (United Animal Nation),
AHA (American Humane),
HSUS (Humane Society of US),
Indiana Dept of Homeland Security,
Citizen Corps
CERT of Miami Township
Red Cross.  

She is a member with Save our Strays: trap/neuter/release (TNR), fostering, socializing feral kittens, adoption interviewing and follow-up, community awareness and fundraising.  Evelyn has been involved with dog rescue groups for the last 3 years: transporting, fostering, training, home checks and adoption interviews.   

 She is a disaster volunteer with:

Best Friends Animal Society,
United Animal Nations (UAN),
Humane Society of US (HSUS),
American Humane Association (AHA)
Ohio Citizen Corps
CERT (Community Emergency Response Team)
and Ohio Veterinary Emergency Responders (OVER) animal organizations. 

Evelyn currently has 7 companion animals from shelters and rescue groups.
